Bats
In Arizona’s, it is rare for any homeowner or property manager to worry too much about bats. They often think that bats are only scary if they suck blood and those are only in far off strange places. Well, that is true, bats that suck blood do live in far off places but bats that make their home inside of homes, and leave behind huge amounts of feces that can collect bacteria and foster disease is very much a reality.
Homeowners often are unaware of bats being in their home. They are unaware because as bats are famous for, they happen to be nocturnal which means they come out at night. Because they come out at night means that they stay in their “cave” during the day. A great modern “cave” for bats is the homes attic. Attics are rarely visited and often have some sort of access point open up after a period of time. Our experienced technicians are very talented at not only recognizing the signs of bats, but also of targeting them and catching them after they have been discovered. Bats are not the typical pest that will go away with product or easily fall into a trap, they often require physical relocation and after they have been relocated, the access points into the home need to be repaired so as to stop them for becoming permanent residents again.
