Summer with its picnics, sports, adventures and blue beautiful skies is something to be yearned for yet, with it comes one of the most terrifying pests in all of Arizona . . . the Scorpion.

Scorpions are often dubbed “the devils insect.”

They have two menacing pincher claws, terrifying eyes, 8 long and bony legs and a vicious tail that delivers a powerful and excruciatingly painful sting.

One of the worst parts of the scorpion is that they are void of fear and full of rage.

As many a victim can attest, when approached by a human 1,000 times their size, they will often raise their tail and charge, and not a slow pace either, made to run down a cockroach they are as fast as their size could possibly allow.

They are highly territorial creatures and so often when there is some  exciting in the local neighborhood with its recent excavation and this digging and moving of dirt often will push the creatures into new territories.
