Skunks
You get to go camping! Yes! After a hard worked winter and spring summer is just around the corner and with it camping and fishing. You and your closest friend, the Golden Retriever set off and stay for the most pleasant weekend at the most gorgeous and refreshing outdoor and secluded camping site. On return, as you take ol’ Goldy to relieve herself in the backyard, you hear a commotion and run out to find that a new guest has moved in and is not happy with your dog. A skunk. Skunks are very powerful creatures, unexpectedly. They have strong paws and forearms and can use them to break open objects such as a mostly finished jar of peanut butter in the trash can. They have great noses and are drawn to savage through modern homes trash and waste. The biggest problem with them other than the fact that they will borrow under a home weakening the foundation and structure is that they have a powerful stink gland that they use to spray and once the spray the odor is near impossible to wash off without the assistance of time; especially when it’s the family dog!
Many homeowners are able to invest in a trap and catch the skunk. But after the skunk is caught, they do not know how to dispose of the skunk or how to even approach the cage or trap the skunk is caught in. This is why is why it is so much better to hire out those professionally trained to trap and remove skunks. Skunks are not the kind of pest that should be left around a property so as soon as you see that borrow hole at the side of your home, call us and bring us out to solve the problem!
